Thank you for visiting with us. We hope your faith will be strengthened and your interest in God’s Word will grow as a result of your time with us. We enjoy contemporary worship, practical Bible teaching, and provide lots of opportunities to connect with other people. We are learning together what it means to be part of God’s family with all of the joys and challenges that come with it. We hope you will join with us.
We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us so here are some answers to the common questions people ask about Snowy Range.
We have two identical worship services every Sunday morning at 9 and 10:30 a.m.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. We are an informal church. You will find a variety of attire from boots and jeans to shorts and flip-flops. Occasionally you might even see someone wearing a sport jacket or dress. Be comfortable and you will fit in.
Do I need a Bible?
Bring ’em if you’ve got ’em. We also post the passages up on the screen for your convenience. Our pastors teach from the Bible. Normally we quote from the New International Version (since that is what most people use), but bring whatever version you prefer. If you need to borrow one of our Bibles there are plenty available to use. And if you like your electronic version, that’s okay, too. We even have a wireless network.
Can I bring coffee into the service with me?
Sure, you can definitely bring it in with you. We offer coffee and hot chocolate or tea, available in the lobby, and you are welcome to bring it into the service with you. Just use a lid, please…
What is available for my kids?
We have a well-equipped nursery staffed by loving adults to take care of preschoolers and younger. Elementary school aged children are encouraged to attend a Junior Church program designed just for them. All volunteers go through background checks and receive excellent training.
Children are welcome to go to Junior Church, but those who choose to remain in the service are welcome to use the activity bags available near our front entrance. Please return these materials after the service.
What is available for me?
We have plenty of opportunities to get involved. Visit our Ministries page for more specifics.
Snowy Range Evangelical Free Church believes strongly in small groups. They are a really fun and easy way to get plugged in.
If you are a college student, you can either engage in any of the ministries listed, or we can point you towards college ministries here in town. In fact, several of their leaders attend here at Snowy Range Evangelical Free, so we can even provide you with a personal introduction!
